Drawing on a century of expertise in kitchens and furniture fittings, Häfele UK has launched Utensio, its first-ever own-brand collection of storage solutions. Designed to blend style and elegance with intelligent, thoughtful functionality, the Utensio range features larder pull-outs, corner and base storage and now, the UK’s largest integrated bin solution.

The new collection has been developed with a “designed by experts, for experts” philosophy, as Richard Curtis, Managing Director of Häfele UK, explains: “Utensio is the result of decades of understanding consumer needs and the technical intricacies of high-performance storage systems. Each element has been crafted by designers who know the latest trends and are committed to delivering sleek and stylish solutions, while also understanding the practical demands of everyday life, multigenerational households and the UK KBB market.”

All Utensio interior storage solutions are designed to fit a 490mm-deep kitchen cabinet. As a result, most UK kitchen cabinets will not require adjustment to accommodate Utensio solutions. This also makes the range ideal for retrofitting into existing kitchens.

The Utensio range includes:

• Tall larder solutions such as Deluxe Pantry, Swing Larder and the innovative ‘stack and slide’ Drawer Larder. All offer maximum storage with smooth, effortless access. Features include concealed fixings, anti-slip mats and load capacities of up to 125kg. The range is backed by a 12-year warranty to meet the demands of a busy kitchen.

• Easy Down wall system, which provides safe, convenient access to high-mounted items. Ideal for multigenerational living, this system reflects Häfele’s commitment to inclusive, accessible design.

•Under-counter storage options for cookware, pantry items and crockery. Products like Slim Base, Larder Base and Drawer Base feature soft-close runners and smooth pull-out mechanisms, with load capacities of up to 20kg per basket.

• Corner storage solutions, including Inline, Glide, Slide and Fold. These maximise corner spaces with pull-out and swing shelves, holding up to 50kg. The Inline Corner is especially accessible, with a non-obstructive pull mechanism ideal for wheelchair users.

• Waste solutions, including Maxi and Maxi Flex—the largest integrated bin solutions on the market, with capacities of up to 98 litres. Maxi is also available with a concealed drawer option. These bins are designed for flexible use, from waste and recycling to general storage, and can be easily retrofitted into existing cabinets.

The full Utensio range is highly customisable, available in three stylish finishes — Folded, Accent and Glass — so customers can tailor their storage to match their kitchen’s aesthetic and budget. Designed with installers in mind, the range features tool-free adjustments, quick basket and shelf installation, concealed fixings and comes with fitting templates, jigs and all required components as standard.

To mark the launch of Utensio, a dedicated mobile showroom will take the range on the road from March 2025, offering designers and installers a hands-on experience. The showroom van is available to book via the Häfele website.
